Fall Sports Recognition Night will be on November 9th at 6:00 !!!!! Winter sports for JV and Varsity levels may begin on November 9th (Monday) Cheerleading may also start on the 9th of November. Modified basketball may begin on November 16th (Monday) Starting dates with our mergers ( boys hockey with NN , indoor track and girls hockey with Canton )will be announced when that information is made available. *** PLEASE NOTE: We have scheduled a coaches/parents/players meeting to be held on November 9th at 5:15, this will take place before the 6:00 Fall Sports Recognition Night . . The meeting will cover coaches expectations, philosophy, and other concerns. At this time our goal is to have coaches, players, parents, and fans all on the "same page" in keeping the "Yellowjacket" Athletic program something the entire community can be proud of. ** Our emphasis regarding these meetings is to stress to our loyal parents and fans that we want to create a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for our athletes. To do so we must "let our players play", "our coaches coach" and "officials officiate" in a positive setting. Negative comments and "sideline coaching" do more harm than good. Any student not having a physical must either make an appointment with Mr. Ron Simmons (PA) at 322-8947 or make an appointment with their own doctor and have Mr. Simmons sign off to be eligible to compete this fall.
