*One 4 or more pack of play dough (regular size containers)
*A package of eight jumbo crayons (including primary colors)
*Two packages of eight regular crayons (including primary colors)
*Two packages of eight to ten markers (including primary colors)
**Please purchase
Crayola crayons and markers as they will
provide the children with the truest colors. 
*A backpack that is big enough for folders and
projects to go back and forth.  Please no
backpacks with wheels.  They do not fit in the lockers.
*One pair of Fiskar safety scissors (with rounded tips)
*$3 for the purchase of a durable vinyl folder to last the entire year. 
(We use the folders in several grade levels at MWCS.)
*An extra set of clothing (including socks and underwear)
to leave at school will helpful for spills and accidents
Please bring these items to school when you visit for orientation on September 1st.

Kindergarten  

*A Change of clothes to be kept in your locker
(Please include pants, shirt, underwear and socks. A pair of sneakers for P.E. and
recess should be kept in your locker.

*Four boxes of   "Crayola"  regular size crayons- Crayola colors are much truer
than other crayons. Please label crayons and the boxes.
(Watch for summer sales on boxes of 24)
*$5.00 to be used to purchase durable pocket folder and a water cup

*Backpack or book bag large enough to carry folders back and forth to school every day
(No rolling bag please since they do not fit in kindergarten lockers.)
*Children's metal Fiskar scissors- We do a lot of cutting and the Fiskar scissors work the best.
(They are also more durable.)
* A box of tissues
*Six #2 pencils (plain...nothing fancy)
* A school box 
* Glue sticks 
*
Box of 12 fat tip Crayola markers

First Grade
*Pencils #2 lead ( a good supply) 
NO MECHANICAL PENCILS , PLASTIC WRAPPED PENCILS
OR HAND HELD SHARPENERS, PLEASE
*Big pink erasers
*5 boxes of 8 regular sized crayons for school and 1 box to use at home when completing homework
  (Crayola as the colors are truer. PLEASE do not send in boxes of 24)
*Glue --a bottle of white glue and 4 glue sticks (no colored glue, please)
*Fiskar's scissors 
*Rectangular school box
*Backpack without wheels (Those with wheels will not fit in the lockers.)
*$6.00 for National Geographic Young Explorer subscription and a
water bottle that will be purchased by your teacher.
               *20 pennies, 8 nickels, 10 dimes, and 1 quarter in a Ziploc bag. (These will be used for Saxon Math.)
*No other notebooks, folders, paper or supplies are needed. We will supply each student with a water bottle.

Please donate for classroom sharing:
*1 big box of Kleenex
*1 bottle of hand sanitizer

clearly marked with the child's name and what the money is to be used for.

Second Grade
Please, put your name on, and bring the following items on the first day of school.
*Pencils (Ticonderoga or other all wood brand are recommended and keep a supply at home)
NO MECHANICAL PENCILS, OR SPARKLE COATED PENCILS
OR HAND HELD SHARPENERS, PLEASE!

 *1 large pink eraser
*2  boxes of 24 Crayola Crayons (one for now, one for later)
*Fiskar's Scissors 
*6 glue sticks
*Regular sized school box ( This is a must!)
Water bottle with a sports top

No other notebooks, paper or supplies are needed.

Please donate for classroom sharing:
*1 box of Kleenex
* 1 bottle of Elmer's Glue-All (not washable, it doesn't hold)
*1 extra box of wooden pencils
Last names beginning with A-M One bottle of Elmer's Glue-All
Last names beginning with M-Z One package ofgallon sized Ziploc bags.

FOR NEW TO OUR DISTRICT STUDENTS ONLY
                     *20 pennies, 20 nickels, 10 dimes in a Ziploc bag. (These will be used for Saxon Math.)

Many Pencils (Ticonderoga pencils work the best.)
School Box for pencils and crayons

4 plain  pocket folders (1 of each: red, yellow, green, & blue) Do NOT write on the folders.
Three highlighters- different colors
  Composition notebook ,marble cover

   
NO Trapper Keepers
NO other paper or notebooks are needed.

Pencils with erasers (a steady supply throughout the year)

One non-flexible12-inch ruler (must have centimeters side as well)
White glue and a glue stick
 Plastic zippered pouch to store pencils, scissors, erasers, etc.
Loose leaf paper (one package for starters)
Six pocket folders
One composition notebook
One spiral bound notebook (single subject)
One highlighter
One box of tissues to share with the class
$5.00 for Time For Kids subscription

2 Packages of loose leaf paper (NO spiral notebooks)
 Several pencils
Pens
2 glue sticks

Colored pencils
Fine point markers (not permanent)
At least 3 highlighters
Hand-held pencil sharpener
Ruler (that has inches and millimeters both)
Onr flash drive for saving computer files
that is 2-5GB (gigabyte)


Note: Large 3-ring notebooks will not be allowed in class due to the fact
that they take up to much room in your desk. 
If they are brought to school, I will ask they be taken home.
Each fifth grader will be given a homework agenda in which to write down
their daily assignments at no charge.

much room in your desk. Please be sure to put your name on all your school supplies.
Each student will be given a homework agenda in the fall from school.
