7th Grade Art: Artist Posters
Objective:
To work with a partner/partners to create an informative poster about a specific assigned artist. The poster should be colorful, should use the principles of design of balance, movement and unity, and have the correct information as outlined below:
Requirements:
1.) Artists Name
2.) Birth date/ Birthplace
3.) What art movement they belong to?
4.) 4 significant events in the Artists Life
5.) 4 graphics- 2 can be pictures, 2 must be hand-drawn
6.) Neat and Appropriate lettering
7.) Your poster should have good arrangement according to the Principles of Design.
Calendar:
December 19-20: Introduce Project
December 20-January 5: Research
January 8-12: Work on Poster
