Computer Graphics is a half year advanced art elective with a focus on various computer design programs (Adobe PhotoShop, Macromedia Fireworks, AppleWorks Paint & Draw), mixed media and digital video editing (iMovie, iDVD). Students use elements of art, principles of design and problem solving skills carried over from Studio in Art.  There is a strong focus on combining various computer media with Internet research and some mixed media.  Students participate in project critiques to analyze their artwork and share insight into their problem solving techniques.  Students must complete a year of Studio in Art in order to take Computer Graphics.
