For Physical Education

Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade

 

 

Skill Portion - (Shows growth in performance of skills)

 

S - Satisfactory -  The skill is achieved without difficulty. The student can perform the skill that is asked without needed demonstration or verbal reminders.

 

I - Improving- The student needs a little bit of help to complete the skill. Sometimes either a demonstration or verbal reminder is needed. The student is then able to complete the skill without any difficulties.

 N - Needs to Improve- The student cannot perform the skill. Demonstration and extra help was provided and the student still cannot complete the skill..

 

 

Effort- (Participates Actively and Productively)

 

S- Satisfactory - The student is able to take instructions, directions, and commands and willingly participates with teacher and peers without continuous verbal reminders or directions from teacher. Student demonstrates positive listening and cooperation skills.  The student is prepared with sneakers for a majority of their physical education classes.

 

I- Improving -  The student is able to take instructions, directions, and commands and participates and cooperates with teacher and peers. Student demonstrates positive listening and cooperation skills. Student sometimes needs verbal reminders or additional directions from the teacher.

 

N- Needs to Improve The students totally lacks effort or is unwilling to participate in physical education class. The student for the majority of the time is not positive, cooperative, helpful, or courteous to their teacher or their peers. 50% of the time is unprepared without sneakers for physical education class.
