Madame Brouwer's Classroom Policies
Attendance Policy – Classroom attendance is taken daily and compared with the Bulletin. For a legal absence, the student has three days to re-make a missed quiz or test and one day per missed day to make-up missed homework. For an illegal absence, no credit is given for missed work.
Grading Policy for French 7 and French Level One - Semester grades are weighted in the following manner: Checked homework, 10%; Participation, 10%; Quizzes, graded homework, and minor projects, 50%; Tests and major projects, 30%.
Grading Policy for French 2,3, and 4/5 - Semester grades are weighted in the following manner: Quizzes, graded homework, and minor projects, 60%; Tests and major projects, 40%.
