Assignments

        To help fourth grade students keep track of daily assignments, they are given an assignment planner at the beginning of the year.  Each day, students are responsible for writing the date, scheduled day, and homework in their planners. They are also expected to bring their planners home and back to school every day.

        A "Take Home" folder will be used to transport notes, spelling lists, and homework to and from school.  A spelling list will come home on the first day of the school week, starting next Monday.  

        Parents, please check the assignment planner and folder so that he/she gets in the habit of bringing them home and back to school each day.  To further aid in your child's success, please check over the assigned work and, upon completion, initial the assignment planner.  If you would like to communicate with me, space is provided at the bottom of each page. Your child will need to show this to me so that a reply may be given as soon as possible.

        When your child returns to school, he/she is responsible for submitting homework as part of his/her morning job.  Homework files are conveniently placed in the back of the room, by subject, where students must place their completed work.
