Night Flight Bat Stories

The students have been working on a bat project for the last couple of weeks.  They started by listening to the story Stellaluna.  Then the class listened to different sounds they might hear at night.  As they were listening, the used white chalk on black paper to draw what they might see.  Then they completed a graphic organizer with a list of things they would see, hear, and smell on their night flight. Once the graphic organizer was complete, they wrote their Night Flight stories.  At the author's tea, each student read their story aloud to the class and our special guests Miss Pressey and Mr. Field.
