Students love a read aloud. Students love a good mystery. Why not develop a program that combines both? |
That is exactly what Mystery Readers does!
The Mystery Readers program gets students excited about reading. They anticipate who the Mystery Reader might be and make educated guesses based on clues. The anticipation builds until the reader appears. Once a week a family member, friend, school staff/faculty member, or community member will come in to read a book to the class. Most every Thursday at 1:30, we will request a Mystery Reader to visit our classroom and read aloud to the class.
