Star Chasers Club
This
is a club for students who are interested in going above and beyond the normal
classroom expectations. The items listed below are not necessarily things
we are learning in second grade. This is a way for students take
ownership of their own education and learning. By participating in
this activity, they are challenging themselves and becoming independent
learners. Who knows, they may stumble on a topic they really enjoy! These topics do not have to be completed in any particular order. Student's may study a topic not listed below. Just write down the topic you would like to study and what you think is acceptable proof of your knowledge. Once I have returned it to you approved - you may begin studying! You can become a 1-star member all the way up to a 75-star member. After checking your work, you will receive one star. For the math links, there are certificates that you can print to indicate that you completed that assignment. Print those to bring to me to receive credit. You can be a one star member of the Club all the way up to an 72 star member. The levels are listed below: Bronze Star 1-14 Stars Silver Star 15-29 Stars Gold Star 30-44 Stars Platinum Star 45-59 Stars Diamond Star 60-72 Stars Congratulations to all our Star Chasers who know learning is fun!!!
