Class Policy:

The very nature of Special Education is that each student has an Individualized Educational Plan. Consequently, each student’s achievements are evaluated based on their specific needs. Students are asked to complete assignments, to do makeup work, to behave appropriately, and to participate in class. I expect each student to treat others the way they want to be treated. If necessary, I will contact parents to discuss their student’s progress/problems, and as always, I welcome phone calls, e-mails and scheduled in-person conferences.  Should you have any questions about my policies or classroom rules, please contact me.

Grading:

The E.L.A .I, II, & III classes are graded as follows:

Tests = 25%                      

Projects = 25%

Quizzes = 20%

Classwork = 15%

Homework = 15%

Missing work must be completed one week prior to the end of the marking period.
