Room 24

This year I have students in grades 6 and 10.

During the three periods of resource room I will provide services that are listed on students' IEPs, which include

• test modifications

• reteaching of some material

• study skills instruction and practice

• homework help

The Resource Room should be used for help understanding content and assignments, and for doing assignments that students cannot do on their own.  It is NOT a study hall. Its primary purpose is to fulfill IEP requirements BY REVIEWING AND RETEACHING CONTENT AREA MATERIAL from their classes, and for helping students with non-content things such as organization and study skills.  In only 42 minutes we cannot get all homework done and study for tests and fulfill IEP requirements - and possibly do makeup work for all subjects. 

PLEASE UNDERSTAND!! Students still may (should) have homework to do at home .
