      Trojan- when a bad guy controls your computer do what they want it to do usually download with out you know it from a website

      In order to be connected to a network there must be a network interface card  installed

      Dram- dynamic and it changes based on what the computer needs

      Wide Area Network-WAN-a network used to connect computers over a long distance

      Metropolitan  Area Network- MAN- a network connecting computes in a metropolitan area

      Campus Area Network-CAN- A network connecting computers in a limited are such as campus or military base

      Server- A computer that controls the other computers in the  area network

      Client/ server – A network that has PCs connected that can function on their own as well as connect to access information

      Input Device- Anything that gets information in your PC (keyboard, scanner, mouse)

      Output Device- Gets information out of your computer ( printer, monitor, headphones)

      Random Accesses Memory- RAM-  short term memory only on when computers are on

      RON - long term memory only on the hard drive

      Megahertz (MHz)- clock speed or speed of your processor, speed of RAM  

      Volatile- easily erased 

      Multitasking- operating sever different things on your computer at the same time

         Computers not on the internet- Might have to much software for the computers memory; Need more; may have to much movies or pictures; Hard Drive to full (ROM)
