Questions to show that you have really seriously considered the job

bulletHow would you describe your style of management?  Are you open to new ideas?
bulletWhat are the opportunities for advancement?
bulletHow much contact with he client is required?
bulletWhat is your philosophy towards work/life balance?
bulletHow would you describe the general atmosphere of the office?
bulletWho would be my performance manager, and what criteria would I be evaluated on?
bulletWhat educational opportunities exist?
bulletHow often do you work in teams?

Get information to see if you would like the job.  Remember, interviewing is a two-way street.  The employer isn't just choosing a new hire, you are choosing an employer.

bulletWhat kind of person works here?
bulletWhat are the department's strengths and weaknesses?
bulletWhat are the day-to-day responsibilities of this position?
bulletHow is your department organized?
bulletWhat are the objectives that you would like accomplished in this position?
bulletWhat resources are available to accomplish the objectives you have outlined?

 Do you get to talk with your possible co-workers?  Ask them questions too!
