  2. 3 external links, minimally

  3. web buttons (try not to link just words, go to a button maker)

  4. Java/widget

  5. Multi-media effects (use some from my list) such as page transitions, opening links in new window, etc.

  6. Graphics

  7. Reference/copyright credits

Show me your best work!  This is the time to impress me with your technical and design knowledge.

Design ideas? look at real companies. Consider using a floating table on a background, columns and rows, with the center information changing for each page.  Easy!  Great way to frame your project too.

Graphical Design

Exaggerated emphasis upon graphics and special effects weakens the message and interferes with the communication of content and ideas

Graphical and multimedia elements accompany content. There is no attention paid to visual design criteria such as balance, proportion, harmony and restraint. There is some tendency toward random use of graphics

Design elements and content combine effectively to deliver a high impact message with the graphics and the words reinforcing each other.
