Race for the House Cup

    The year is already one-quarter over and two Houses are separating themselves from the pack.  The mighty Gryffindor is making a charge to catch the quietly aggressive Hufflepuffs.  So far it has been back and forth between these two Houses.  Gryffindor led over five weeks of the first marking period, but Hufflepuff has quietly stolen the lead from them.  Then, this week when it looked like Gryffindor might snatch back the lead, Hufflepuff put in a solid week and extended their lead over the mighty lions.  How will this turn out?  Who will win the thousands of potential points for the best Turkey Disguise on Monday?  It could be a game changer.  Will Slytherin be able to make a run once one of their members returns from an injury that has placed him out of school?  Will Ravenclaw be able to keep up with the mighty readers who are collecting points by the thousands on a weekly basis in the leading two houses?  We will see.  The Quest for the Cup has only just begun!
