* College Visits / Fairs 2007-08 *
Monday, September 17th: SUNY Road Show at Massena High School
Open to Seniors
Various information about the SUNY (State University of New York) colleges; the application process, financial aid, and other considerations to keep in mind when applying to college will be discussed
Monday, September 24th: A representative from North Country Community College will
be visiting M-W at 1:30PM (Juniors & Seniors welcome to
attend)
Tuesday, October 2nd: Seniors can sign up to attend the College Fair at OFA. We
will provide a bus to the event in the morning. Students should
bring money for lunch. There will be representatives from over
100 colleges at the college fair.
Tuesday, October 2nd: A representative from the University of Rochester will be
available to speak with students in the Guidance Office. Time
to be announced.
Tuesday, October 2nd: Higher Education Night: Will be held at the Augsbury Physical
Education Center at St. Lawrence University from 6 -8 PM. All
High School students are invited to attend (must provide own
transportation). Representatives from over 100 regional and
national colleges will be present.
Friday, October 5th: A representative from SUNY Canton will be available to speak
with interested juniors and seniors at 12:15 PM.
Thursday, October 18th: A representative from SUNY Potsdam will be here to meet with
interested juniors and seniors at 12:30 PM.
Friday, October 26th: A representative from St. Lawrence University will be available
speak with interested juniors and seniors at 10:00 AM.

Information about various college applications available online:
* State University of New York (SUNY) COMMON APPLICATION: http://www.suny.edu/Student/apply_online.cfm. This link is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is accessible at home, school or in a library. Students will receive a confirmation email with in 15 minutes of submitting application. Use this link to fill out the application to any SUNY School.
*COMMON APPLICATION: This application allows students to apply to any of 255 public and private colleges, all across the country. A complete list of participating colleges is available, also.www.commonapp.org
* Ecampustours: ecampus tours puts college in perspective with a 360 degree tour of over 1,000 different schools. It's the next best thing to being there. www.ecampustours.com
* Many colleges are now offering online applications on their individual official college website. Search online for a college that you would like to apply to, then look for an Apply Online link within the site. (Web addresses that end in ___.edu are educational institutions). We also have several paper applications in the Guidance Office library, and we are always here to help.
