Congratulations to all on a fine series of auditions.  Members of the ensemble should anticipate being assigned to more specific roles later in production, but in the meantime are at minimum slated to be in the closing numbers of Act I and Act II.  Rehearsal schedules are forthcoming and will be posted online, outside room 51, and in the main office. Mrs. Burnett will, as usual, publish her own singing schedules in the same locations.  Again, congratulations and here’s to a great production of Into the Woods!

On Thursday April 8th, 2010 at 8PM Madrid-Waddington Central will open the curtain for a three night run of its 33rd annual musical production Into the Woods.  Into the Woods combines the well-known fairy tales of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood with the story of the Baker and his Wife who desperately want a child. This year’s cast of 32 has been hard at work since mid February preparing what is sure to be a memorable production of “one of the most performed musicals in the United States.
Reserved seating is in effect for all three performances April, 8th, 9th, and 10th. Tickets can be purchased for $7- $12 on performance nights at the door or by calling the Madrid-Waddington box office at 322-5746 ext. 151 in advance. The box office will be open 2-4PM Monday-Friday beginning Monday, March 29th.
