Behind the Scenes
Set Construction Team
Over the past eight weeks a select group of talented young work-a-holics has been kept busy cutting, hammering, lifting, trimming, framing, squaring, and of course (Mr. Ruddy's favorite) CLEANING! Set construction is by no means quick or easy, but we like to think all the time and care pays off in the end. I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate the early mornings and long hours you have put into this endeavor. I realize manic set designer can be most challenging. you have all taken us further then I could have ever imagined. Thank You!!!
Art
Nothing ever seems to come together until the artists arrive. Hundreds of hours go into priming, painting, and detailing every inch of our stage. Listing the names of every student who helped us get this job done is near impossible and includes students from every grade 6-12. Without "each and every one of you" a show like this is impossible. thanks for all the time, patience, and positive vibes you've contributed to this production!!!
Hairstyles/Make-Up
Another fine looking cast made to look even better thanks to the efforts of this excellent team! This year's show presented the difficult task of maintaining two distinct appearances for everyone o stage. With only a couple of hours to prepare the hair of 21 women (just imagine!) and apply make-up to 38 faces, this crew certainly has their work cut out for them. Luckily we can always rely on the expertise of veterans Jack Smith, Chris LaMere, and Michelle Putney to insure that "all is done in reverend care" of this tremendous cast. The backstage buzz surrounding you remains one of my favorite aspects of these productions. Thank you!!!
