Madrid-Waddington senior Tanner Smith was recently asked to participate on Team USA for the upcoming 22nd Carp Fishing World Championship. This tournament takes place on beautiful Lake Deseda in Kaposvar, Hungary. The team is made up of eight diverse anglers from the United States. The team of eight consists of six anglers and two reserve anglers. Tanner will be one of the reserve anglers. They will be competing against many different teams from around the world in the championship. The teams arrive in Hungary on Sunday, September 18th, and depart on Monday, September 26th.
