COVID Positive Case
COVID

We have been informed that we have a confirmed positive COVID-19 case among our student population at the elementary level.  Following contact tracing protocols we will be able to continue offering full in-person instruction for nearly all students.  At this point we will only have to switch one elementary classroom and one bus run to remote instruction for the remainder of this week.

We will be contacting all affected families this evening so if you do not receive a phone call then your child is fine to report to school tomorrow as planned.

St. Lawrence County Department of Public Health will be contacting all individuals directly who have had contact with the positive individual as well to go over quarantine guidelines.

Any affected students who would like to receive a 7-day meal service please contact the District office tomorrow morning to request.  Meals will be available for pick-up tomorrow, Tuesday, afternoon from 2:45-3:30.

We are highly appreciative of the cooperation of our District families as we work through the high case numbers in St. Lawrence County.  The quick recognition of symptoms and diligent following of safety measures is very helpful in minimizing educational disruptions.

If you have concerns and would like to seek COVID-19 testing proactively for you or your child, there are testing sites available throughout the county. Contact information is included below.
