COVID Positive Case: Elementary

We have been informed that we have two new confirmed positive COVID-19 cases among our student population at the elementary level.  Based on this information we will be moving all UPK - 5th grade students to fully remote instruction for both Thursday and Friday.  This will give us time to conduct thorough contact tracing and determine how quickly we can bring elementary students back for in-person instruction.

ALL 6-12 STUDENTS WILL STILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND IN-PERSON.

ALL STUDENTS WHO ATTEND PROGRAMS AT OFF-CAMPUS LOCATIONS WILL STILL BE TRANSPORTED.

We will be making contact with all affected student families over the next 24 hours as we continue our contact tracing.

St. Lawrence County Department of Public Health will be contacting all individuals directly who have had contact with the positive individual as well to go over quarantine guidelines.

We recognize the anxiety this causes as families await notification so we will be working through this process quickly.  We appreciate your patience and understanding and will send out a mass notification once all contacts are made.

If you have concerns and would like to seek COVID-19 testing proactively for you or your child, there are testing sites available throughout the county. Contact information is included below.
